Windows 2008 server

We have Virtualized windows 2008 enterprise server in VirtualPC container. We have deployed a domain controller which also acts as Active directory server.
We created virtual network on which we created two bare metal virtual machines. We completed zero touch and light touch installations on both these machines. One of them is a complete Windows server edition while another is a windows server Core installation.
This virtual network also helps us to host the domain controller as webserver hosting IIS. This setup is used as a lab environment for windows based application infrastructure experiments. We will explain further details in next episodes.

Windows 2008 Enterprise

This setup is planned to be extended into virtual clients connected to VMware and VMBox hosted Windows 7 enterprise and Linux guests. We have planned to connect to virtual guests of windows embedded and Andriod to simulate and reflect a typical enterprise infrastructure.
